Your Mexican books in order, with a tax attorney on the same team

Filings, electronic invoicing, payroll and the annual return for freelancers, companies and foreign residents. The difference: if the SAT asks, the same firm that filed your numbers answers — you don't have to go find a lawyer.

What we handle every month

No "we'll let you know if something comes up". Each month you receive your filings submitted, your official receipts and a report you can actually read.

And if the SAT raises a question, the same firm that produced those numbers answers it, with the file already in hand.

The mistake that costs the most

The typical picture: the accountant files on time, but nobody watches the Buzón Tributario, the SAT's electronic mailbox. An information request lands, nobody sees it, the 15 days expire, and what would have been a two-page clarification becomes a final tax assessment with surcharges. That is when clients discover their accountant was never their defense.

That is why our bookkeeping is tied to daily monitoring of the mailbox and, when needed, to a tax amparo or an administrative appeal. Same file, same people, same responsibility.

Freelancer in Mexico working with his accounting up to date under the RESICO regime
RESICO is the most popular regime and the easiest to lose. Running it properly is what avoids the shock.

Who we work for

Freelancers

Designers, developers, consultants, doctors, therapists. Usually under RESICO, invoicing a handful of clients and with no interest in learning Mexican accounting.

Companies

Mexican corporations with payroll, several banks and suppliers. Includes cash-flow control and social security compliance.

Foreign residents

Expats, digital nomads and relocated executives. We settle tax residency and double taxation before choosing a regime. See residency →

Accounting questions

How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?+

It depends on your tax regime and the volume of invoices you issue and receive. A sole trader under the simplified regime costs far less than a company with payroll and several bank accounts. We send you a flat quote after the free assessment, with no hidden retainers and no charges per email.

What is RESICO and does it apply to me?+

RESICO is Mexico's simplified trust regime, with income tax rates between 1% and 2.5% on gross collected income for individuals earning up to 3.5 million pesos a year. It is the most popular regime for freelancers and it is also the easiest one to be thrown out of — failing to issue an invoice for a payment, or falling three months behind on filings, is enough.

Can I hire accounting without the tax defense plan?+

Yes. Accounting, tax defense and everything else are sold separately. The advantage of combining them is that the same team that files your numbers is the one that answers if the SAT asks about them, instead of the usual ping-pong between your accountant and your lawyer while the deadline runs.

I'm behind on my filings. Can you fix it?+

That is the most common case that reaches us. We start with an assessment of which filings are missing, which fines have already been assessed and what can still be corrected voluntarily before the authority audits you. Then we regularise your position and take over the month-to-month.

Do you work with foreign residents?+

Yes. We handle bookkeeping for foreign residents with a Mexican tax ID, digital nomads and people with income abroad. There are specific rules on tax residency and double taxation that are worth settling before choosing a regime, and we look at those first.

Do you issue my invoices or do I?+

Whichever you prefer. We can issue them for you, review what you issue, or simply validate at month end. What we always do is reconcile what you invoiced against what you were actually paid, because that gap is what triggers SAT letters.

And if the SAT has already acted? Clean books prevent problems but do not undo them. If your invoicing certificate was blocked, your accounts frozen or an assessment issued, the route is a tax amparo, flat fee MX$9,900. The prior opinion is free.

Start with the assessment. Then decide.

We review where you stand with the SAT at no cost and tell you what is missing, what the risk is and what monthly bookkeeping would cost.
