This Legal Notice complements our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Notice (both published in Spanish, which is the governing version). Its purpose is to make clear who provides these services, what the content of this site is, and what you are actually contracting.
Everything published on gesmexa.com — service pages, guides, deadline tables, fees and downloadable material — is general information. It does not constitute individual legal, tax, accounting or immigration advice, and it does not replace consulting a professional who knows the specific facts of your situation.
How a rule applies depends on circumstances this site cannot know. Acting, or failing to act, on the basis of what you read here alone is your own responsibility.
Browsing gesmexa.com, reading a guide or sending us an initial message on WhatsApp or by email does not by itself create a professional relationship with STARVAV, S.A. de C.V. or with the attorneys who work with the firm.
That relationship begins only when we expressly accept the engagement after reviewing the matter, the engagement is formalised, and the agreed fee is settled — except in urgent matters, which we attend to before payment. Until then, anything you share is treated confidentially under our Privacy Notice, but no mandate or representation exists.
Please do not send confidential documents before we confirm that we can take your matter and that no conflict of interest exists.
GesMexa does not guarantee any specific outcome in administrative or judicial proceedings, including amparo lawsuits. How a case is decided depends on the facts, on the authority's criteria and on circumstances outside the firm's control.
What we do guarantee is the published flat fee, the filing deadline we commit to, and an honest viability opinion before you are charged. Any reference to experience or to previous matters is illustrative and does not predict the outcome of a different case. Be sceptical of any firm that promises you a win.
Legal services are provided by attorneys holding a valid Mexican professional licence (cédula profesional), whether members of the GesMexa team or of its network of associated professionals. Accounting services are provided by qualified public accountants. The firm uses technology, including artificial intelligence, to assemble files and prepare drafts, but strategy, review and signature of every legal filing always rest with a licensed professional who takes responsibility for it.
Flat fees shown on this site are quoted in Mexican pesos (MXN) and include value added tax. They are the same in every Mexican state and are honoured as displayed, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law. Any US dollar figures shown are approximate conversions for orientation only; the amount charged is the peso amount.
Subscription prices appear on the plans section with an express indication of whether VAT is included.
Costs never included in a flat fee, because they are paid to third parties rather than to the firm:
These are explained and estimated before you decide to engage us. If they make the matter impractical, we say so.
In tax matters, Mexico offers free or low-cost defence routes you can use without hiring anyone. PRODECON, the taxpayer ombudsman, provides advice, complaints, free legal representation and settlement agreements. If our review concludes that one of those routes suits you, we will say so even though it means we sell you nothing.
Deadlines, articles and criteria cited on this site reflect the law in force at the date each page was published or last updated. Mexican tax, immigration and amparo law changes frequently; the reform to the Amparo Law published on 16 October 2025 is a recent example. We work to keep the content current, but we do not warrant that it reflects the law in force at all times. Always confirm with a professional before acting.
This English version is provided for the convenience of our international clients. Our Privacy Notice and Terms and Conditions are published in Spanish, and the Spanish versions govern in the event of any discrepancy. Court filings in Mexico are made in Spanish, as the law requires; we explain each step to you in English.
